• These are more or less your standard Hollywood vampire. They cannot walk in sunlight, must feed on human blood to survive, cannot abide holy relics, and can be killed by decapitation or a stake through the heart. No vampire can fly, which also means they cannot summon flocks of bats.
• Vampires are created by being bitten and partially drained, and then drinking the blood of the vampire feeding from them; they cannot, under any circumstances, be born, so all vampire characters are to be created via being bitten. Vampires are incapable of procreation in their own species, and the males, in fact, are completely infertile, and more to the point, incapable of physical intimacy, due to the state of their undead bodies.
• I will not, under any circumstances, accept Dracula himself as a playable character - he's dead and gone. It's up to your character as to whether or not they believe the myth of his existence in the first place, but I won't accept him, or any of his immediate descendants into the game (by immediate, I mean son or other such godmodding).
• Finally, this game will not accept covens as a possibility. Since the time of Dracula's demise (given, of course, that your character even believes in Dracula), werewolves have risen to dominance over the supernatural, and as such, would have wiped them out; vampires are unable to make that much of an impact, or build that much power to unite in one such force; werewolves simply wouldn't allow it. Over the years, vampires have been able to put together small groups, but never inside werewolf territory; such units would be sought out, and disbanded, either just forcefully and without bloodshed, or by killing the members, especially the leaders of such a company. Such groups, lingering outside of a pack's territory, have been known to keep 'guards'; werewolf slaves usually captured at a young age, and subsequently 'trained'. Werewolf packs, upon hearing about or discovering such a thing, will waste no time in finding the source and eradicating the vampires responsible; in some cases though, the enslaved werewolf is beyond the point of being saved, and must be eliminated as well. These vampire groups are not all that uncommon, but they know how to 'fly under the radar', as it were, especially if they expect to survive.
The Vampires.
